Polycrystalline Wool Bulk is a alumina inorganic fiber primarily composed of Al?O?, typically containing approximately 5% silicon dioxide to stabilize the crystal phase and suppress grain growth at elevated temperatures. The main constituents are Al?O? (95%) and SiO? (5%). Alumina fibers can be synthesized using an advanced "sol-gel" technique. Following dehydration, drying, and medium-to-high temperature heat treatment for crystallization, Al-Si alumina polycrystalline fibers are ultimately produced.
