Resin bond mounted points are made from a mixture of abrasive grains and synthetic resin. The abrasive grains are either made from diamond or cubic boron nitride (CBN) - two of the hardest materials available. The resin used in the bond is either phenolic or polyimide depending on the temperature of use. The resin bond provides excellent holding power, durability, and shape retention, making it ideal for precision grinding applications.
